North Bethlehem Action Committee

We need your donations!

Support us with your donation. Most of our expenses—this website, shoe leather, telephone, etc.—are donated. From time to time, some of us have retained legal counsel and that is not free. That counsel has been instrumental in several instances—for example,

  1. Obtaining the ruling against the application for the 96-unit multistory apartment complex;
  2. Obtaining the ruling against the application for the 85-unit multistory apartment complex;
  3. Obtaining the ruling against the proposed conversion of the former First Baptist Church at 111 Dewberry into a 70-bed drug and alcohol residential treatment facility;
  4. Obtaining the ruling against the conversion of 2110 Center from a residence to an office building;
  5. Obtaining the ruling against the proposed drug and alcohol rehab facility at 2110 Center and 2349 Linden
  6. Arguing that a drug, alcohol and psychiatric hospital at Dewberry and Center is not in the best interest of our community.
  7. Obtaining the ruling for a (permitted use) hospital at 1838 Center but not a residential treatment facility.

Undoubtedly, we will need to continue with that part of our offensive.
